In terms of what’s great about the holidays…there are only a few things higher up on the list than the “Sugar Covered Peanut Butter Cookie With the Hershey Kiss In the Middle of It” Cookie. Holy cow. It’s just the best….plain and simple.

What’s not to like about it? You get the peanut butter…you get the sweet, life-giving sugar…and then you get the chocolate Kiss. It’s AWESOME.

You can eat them for breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, dessert…it doesn’t matter. My wife Jennifer made 18 of them on Saturday. They were gone by Sunday afternoon. I think my kids had one or two…maybe. They have quick hands, so they might have gotten one past me.

I didn’t have lunch yesterday…I had 8 cookies. Why waste stomach space on lunch when you can fill it with cookie. Does the Sugar Covered Peanut Butter Cookie With the Hershey Kiss In the Middle of It have a shorter name? It probably does, but who cares, right?

There’s only one rule with this cookie. It must be a Hershey Kiss that’s in the middle. I’ve seen alternatives…like the chocolate star, the striped Hershey Kiss, the white chocolate Kiss…none of them are the same…and they fail in comparison.

If you were doing a cookie exchange…I would just snag all of these, and that would be it. It’d be the quickest cookie exchange of all time. Here are all my store-bought cookies…now give me my cookie crack please.

If you don’t like these, I really don’t know if we can be friends any longer. Okay, that’s not true, but to win my friendship back, a dozen of these suckers wouldn’t hurt.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I must go craft a very kind email to my wife thanking her for the cookies, and asking/begging/pleading for more. She knows the power she wields.

World issues could be solved with these cookies. Has ISIS ever had these cookies? Probably not…and they’re angry. If we had a plate of these cookies at the photo shoot, Kim Kardashian wouldn’t have tried to “break the Internet”. If these were in every store this Black Friday, all shoppers would be calm, cool, and collective…am I right?!
