How To Train Your Dragon 2…it’s AWESOME. We went to the Valle Drive-in on Friday night to watch it…we got there at 6:45…and it was already packed. We were still able to find a great spot though…but that’s when we realized, OMG…this movie isn’t starting for another 2+ hours. Props to my kids (3 year old & 2 year old) for being patient.
The drinks at Bar Louie. I didn’t think I’d find a better mojito in Des Moines outside of Dos Rios…but the Berry Mojito at Bar Louie is absolutely incredible. My wife raved about both types of Sangria they serve as well.
N.W.A. – Not sure what hit me this past week…but it inspired me to buy NWA’s Greatest Hits. Such good memories of being a wannabe gangsta…Gangsta Gangsta.
Ed Sheeran – Love “Sing”…who doesn’t? I listened to “Bloodstream”, which is great…but his song “Afterlife” blew me away. Incredibly touching song about his grandfather passing…I don’t know how he’ll perform this in concert…it’s almost too genuine.
Our new deck. Big props to my father-in-law & brother-in-law for helping put this together on Saturday. The summer of grilling begins.
Do you know what else I like? Going to Target with three items on my list…and leaving with just those three things…it’s a display of incredible will power. Whenever that happens, there should be a medal we’re given as we leave the store.
The World Cup – I have the fever. I know many of you think it’s boring…and for the most part, I can’t argue too strongly against that. I seem to watch part of a game while at the same time watching Orange is the New Black on my Ipad.
Kris Bryant is now an Iowa Cub. Good things are ahead.
The Lego Movie – Finally got to see it on Tuesday afternoon…and much like everything…it is AWESOME.
After months of trying to figure it out…I finally found emojis on my phone. I should have Googled that a long time ago…”find emojis on Iphone”…it’s pretty easy…I’m already annoying my wife with this.
