Kurt’s Blog: The Ranking of the Top 10 Marvel Movies Ever

The family and I went and saw Captain Marvel on Saturday…and loved it.

I hear some detractors saying that “it was confusing”…the only parts I found confusing weren’t anything based on Captain Marvel…it was based off other Marvel movies (i.e. nobody understand the “Tesseract“, I can’t wait to stop having to talk about the Tesseract).

Brie Larson…great. Sammy Jackson…great. The Skrulls? Great.

Does it land on my “TOP 10 MARVEL MOVIES EVER“?  You betcha.

  1. Thor: Ragnarok
  2. Captain America: Winter Soldier
  3. Black Panther
  4. Captain Marvel
  5. Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse
  6. Spiderman: Homecoming
  7. X-Men: Days of Future Past
  8. Ant Man & the Wasp
  9. Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2
  10. Captain America: The First Avenger

…and thank you to Captain Marvel….for her arrival has now made me excited for “End Game”.

Choose ‘Trainspotting’: Ewan McGregor and Danny Boyle reflect on the life-changing film

Ewan McGregor, for a fleeting moment after "Trainspotting" came out, felt like a rock star. The kinetic film about four heroin addicts in late-1980s Scotland was and, 30 years later, remains defining — in his career, in the culture and in his understanding of what true artistic satisfaction can feel like.
