Kurt’s Blog: The Top 10 Songs of 2014 (Says My Kids)

I was going to put together my “Top 20 of 2014” song list…but my kids wanted to get in on this as well. Not surprisingly, they didn’t pick any of the songs I had on my list.

Now, keep in mind, Dexter is 4, Priscilla will be 3 at the end of the month…and they don’t care if the song actually came out in 2014. I tried to reason with them…but was out-voted.

Dexter & Priscilla’s Top 10 Songs of 2014

10. The Theme to “Super Why

9. “Who I Am” from Tinkerbell’s “Pirate Fairy” (welcome back to music Natasha Beddingfield)

8. “RescueBots” theme song

7. “Wreck It, Wreck It Ralph

6. “Still I Fly” from the “Planes: Fire & Rescue” Soundtrack

5. “Everything is AWESOME

4. Yo Gabba Gabba’s “Party in My Tummy

3. NinjaGo Theme Song “The Weekend Whip

2. Ghostbusters Theme…October was nothing but this song…and it’s carrying well over to December!

1. and no surprise….”Let It Go“.

My daughter was adamant that “Let It Go” be #1…my son disagreed vehemently. An argument did ensue…Dexter made have been paid off with fruit snacks

AWESOME is as AWESOME does!
