Kurt’s Blog: These are the BESTEST Christmas Movies

But Kurt…I’m looking at your list…and I don’t see Elf. This is not a mistake…Elf is fine, but it is the most over-rated Christmas movie of all-time. The first 50 minutes of Elf…funny, great…but once Santa gets to Central Park, it turns into the longest movie ever…and then the whole crowd starts singing in the park? Was it this…Cuban Pete? (that’s right, that’s a “The Mask” reference right there).

Here they are …

My bestest Christmas movies ever…

  1. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Jim Carrey version)
  2. Home Alone
  3. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
  4. Die Hard
  5. A Christmas Story
  6. Home Alone 2
  7. It’s a Wonderful Life

As I look at the list, I’m realizing that I’ve seen my Top 5 over 50 times each….and I’m super proud of that.
