Kurt’s Blog: This Guy Instantly Makes Me Scowl

The guy pictured above? I have no idea who he is…all I know is that he is keeping me from watching the YouTube video of my choosing by 15 seconds.

When he appears on my computer…the sound I make can best be described as this “AAARRRGHHEHGHHERHRRRRGGHHHGHEHAHGHBHEHGHHHHGHHSHEHHGHEHGHHEHHEHHGHHHBHHSHHHHEHGHEPGHGHEHGHHSGH”

Ugh…political ads…and it’s not a Joni Ernst/Bruce Braley thing…it’s the whole thing.

Why…oh why…does this guy pop up every single, stupid time to say “Hey it’s me again….blah blah blah blah blah…now here’s your video”.

It’s not even one of those that you can click “Skip Ad” after 5 seconds…it’s the whole 15….it might as well be an eternity.

Why are you putting this ad in front of a “Best football runs 2014”, “Wrestling Fails/Botches 2013”, “Sons of Anarchy Curtis Stigers Theme”, “Opie Tribute SOA”.

Just stop…I beg of you…please stop. Realize that whenever one of these ads (regardless of what side of the aisle it is), it instantly makes me not want to vote for you.

You know how a candidate could get my vote really easily? Just say…”I hope you vote for me, and if you do, I promise not to interrupt any of your YouTube videos”. Done & done.
