Congrats to Rob & Amanda
I did their wedding one year ago on St. Patty’s Day…it was most AWESOME…and on Friday night, I met them over at Mickey Finns to celebrate their one-year anniversary (thanks for the AWESOME wedding CD Rob & Amanda)
The Movie I Cried At
I can’t believe that this movie made me cry. No, not cry…ummm…weep. Okay, maybe not weep…but it was in-between crying…and weeping…and it has proved that I’ve totally gone to mush. Ugh.

Here it goes…
There’s a father/son scene at the end…and it’s incredibly touching. Maybe it’s not even all that touching, but it got to me…hard. I cried. Then, my wife woke up, said that she had fallen asleep for the last 15 minutes of the movie, so we backed up and re-watched it, and I cried again…even harder.
To say I’m disappointed in myself would be an understatement….but maybe, I’m not the only one that was moved by this?

Today, I’m Your Bookie
I run the unofficial building bracket pool. Today, I become a bookie…I hand out sheets, I collect the “jellybeans”…I keep track of it all. Even though I have NEVER won 1st place, people seem to come to me as though I’m some sort of expert. If you added up the total hours I’ve spent watching college basketball this year, it’d be about 3 hours.
My cat Sammy will fill out his normal bracket…picking teams that have cats as their mascot (Panthers, Wildcats, Tigers, etc)…and picking against teams that have dog mascots (Bulldogs, Wolfpack, etc).
When neither team fits that requirement, Sammy picks the animal cats like the most. For example…Sammy will pick Louisville, because he likes birds….Sammy will pick the Temple Owls (for the same reason). Sammy finished 3rd last year based on this.

I’ve Come To This Conclusion
The teenagers with their pants hanging well below their waist? I’m cool with it. I remember doing the same thing…so whatever. However, dads…let’s stop this now.If you’re a dad, you have to hike up the pants. Saggy pants on a dad = a terrible look.
