I’m in agreement with Big Ken…this Cup victory felt sweeter. It was just such an incredible series…and this will be the exact opposite of what my wife would say, but I’m sad that it’s over.

Speaking of Cars
My wife got hit the other week by (of course) a girl with no insurance (not that I’m harboring that bitter pill of rage). The important part of this, of course, is that no one was hurt…but now we’re going through the inconvenience of getting the car repaired, and having to deal with a rental car.
My wife “tricked” me into making sure I was the only one who can drive the rental car…well played darlin’, well played. I can’t stand the rental car. It’s awful. It has Texas plates…one of my least favorite states.
Ugh. Yuck. Blech.

Colleen had the story this morning in the Hollywood Trash Hot 5 that Johnny Depp travels with his Jack Sparrow costume all the time. Why? Well, in case he wants to visit a children’s hospital, he can dress up as Jack. That’s AWESOME. Well done Johnny.

Jay-Z Borrowing From Nirvana?
Courtney Love has given Jay-Z her blessing to use lyrics from Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” on his upcoming Magna Carta Holy Grail album.
It turns out that Jay-Z had used the lyrics first, then asked permission…but it all worked out. I’m interested to see what lyrics he chose to use from Teen Spirit.

When I saw this commercial, I laughed out loud…and I see that a lot of the comments are actually negative when it comes to the ad.
It’s not a real seal folks. I don’t understand why people get upset over this, which is meant entirely to be silly and fake…but no one has an issue with actual Shark Week. Not everything has to be so serious.
By the way, the best YouTube comment came from some idiot that wrote “Faaakke”. No kidding. Well done Copernicus.
