I have written before about just how big of a fan I am of Weird Al Yankovic. He is one of my all-time favorites…and as you’ll hear in the interview (which you can hear at the bottom of the Blog), I’m not lying when I say that I did steal/borrow the “Dare to Be Stupid” cassette from the Cook Library. I didn’t mean to steal it, I just never wanted to give it back.

He’s not only on my Mt. Rushmore of music…but he’s front and center with Eddie Vedder. (I need to figure out who the other two folks are on my Rushmore of Music).
I’ve seen him twice before…nearly thrice, but that was rained out…well, tornadoed out…and I can NOT wait for him to be here in Des Moines, August 4th, over at Hoyt Sherman.
It has been told to me that I will get to do a Weird Al meet & greet…which has put such a huge smile on my face. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming…life is good.
Why be selfish though? Let’s share the Weird Al love! We have another meet & greet good for you and a guest…and I would love for you to join me when meeting Weird Al.
All you have to do is answer this Weird Al-related question…and if you get it correct, you’ll be in the running to win!
Here is the trivia question that can lead you to the promised land that is backstage to meet the great Weird Al:
In Weird Al’s movie “UHF”…how many Spatula City locations are there?
(Fans will know this…and if you’re playing for someone else…hint: youtube: Spatula City”)
Good luck! I will pick a winner by Sunday night at 5pm and will notify the winner Monday morning!
