Justin Bieber cancels all meet and greets on his Purpose World Tour

If you had your heart set on meeting Justin Bieber at one of his Purpose World Tour concerts, you’re out of luck. The singer announced Tuesday via Instagram that he would no longer be doing meet and greets at his show because the singer says he ends up “so drained and unhappy.”

While some fans are lucky enough to win free meet and greet passes, many purchased them from the company Bkstg along with their concert tickets. Officials from Bkstg sited an unnamed “security incident” that forced the company to rethink the meet and greet policy. Those fans that purchased tickets with meet and greets will be offered a full refund (which also vacates the concert tickets) or the alternative of a pre-show “hangout” with Justin where the singer will be in the same room with fans where they can take photos and videos of the singer, just not with him.

Bieber added, “(I) Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression.”
