2015 World Food & Music Festival

In its 11th year, the World Food & Music Festival has grown steadily as Iowa’s top celebration of diverse food traditions and rich cultural network. The event is FREE to the public, with reasonably-priced food options from more than 40 food vendors for all to enjoy! This event will be a cornerstone of our ongoing effort to build financial support for programs that strengthen the foundations of our community. Our vision is to create an Iowa where all youth have access to high quality opportunities that prepare them for success in school, work and life. Our programs encourage community engagement, and develop youth who are well rounded, socially and emotionally healthy, and academically prepared to contribute to our great state.

Children & Families of Iowa’s Princess Party

Details: Children & Families of Iowa invites princesses and their chaperones to join us for a fun-filled morning of princess activities including breakfast, games, live princesses and crafts. All children are welcome and encouraged to dress up! Proceeds from the event benefit our programs, so the little princesses truly help other kids find their dreams! And we celebrate the vivid sights and sounds of our own internationally-acclaimed Iowa State Fair with the world premiere of Symphony On A Stick – accompanied by cinematography of the Fair projected on a giant screen above the Orchestra.
